I did the Gillette deal this week here is how mine worked out:
ReplyDelete3 body washes $3.33 each
3 Deodorants $4.99 each (these were also buy one get one 50% off)
Used 3 $2/1 body wash coupons (this weeks paper)
Used 3 B1G1 (buy body wash get deodorant free) coupons (in the paper 2 weeks ago I think)
The half off deodorant does not come off till the very end so they took the full $4.99 off for each deodorant…leaving $2.50 to cover the body wash cost. So my total was $1.49….making each one $0.25..BUT I got the $3 RR making it a $1.51. moneymaker!!!
I tried the deal at 2 different Walgreens!
ReplyDeleteAt the first Walgreens, I'm assuming they thought they were 3/$10. So, they gave me $3.33, $3.34, and $3.34.
When I tried the deal at the second Walgreens, they gave me $4.99, $4.99, and then $2.50!
Guess it is one of those "your mileage may vary" type situations!
